Ch-ch-changes: The world lost a great artist this week with the passing of Don Vliet AKA Captain Beefheart -- Here's the entry on my own personal blog. That "friend in California" was Matthew Child. I will always remember Henk Targowski playing Clear Spot in Amsterdam while we were setting up the first Festival of Fools!

"Miss Christine" of the GTOs invites us in for another listen to Willie the Pimp with Captain Beefheart, Don "Sugarcane" Harris, Ian Underwood, and others. Matthew and I listened to this thing a lot -- in fact, I'm listening to it as I compose this blog!
